A Sentimental Map of My Neighborhood
Quartiere Mecenate/Forlanini, in Milan’s Municipio 4, is my acquired neighborhood. These pictures have been taken there, but they are also part of individual works in the making, not all of them necessarily linked to this specific place. For the time being, if shown together, they form a sort of idiosyncratic map of my immediate surroundings: the streets I walk, the buildings I see, the places I go to, the people I cross paths with in my everyday life. All things that, I begin to suspect, might end up being more important than any project taking shape in my mind.
